Ground Services
We are a small family run company, (established in 2003) based in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. We specialise in patios, driveways, soft landscaping, artificial grass, fencing, drainage and general groundworks.
We also offer troubleshooting services if you need a solution to an existing problem. A friendly face to face consultation to discuss requirements / ideas for your individual projects with a choice of quality samples to browse and get inspiration from. We can also advise on garden designs and ideas to suit all needs and preferences.
SERVICES
Driveways - Resin Bound
We are fully qualified (City and Guilds cert) in resin bound installation using only quality stone and UV stable resin from the UK’s leading manufacturers (Daltex/Vuba).Always looking for new innovations from reputable suppliers to help reduce the cost to you (the end user).
Driveways - Block Paving
All our block paving driveways are laid using 50mm concrete blocks from Marshalls and/ or Tobermore. These can be laid in multiple patterns / colours and styles.Using the correct kerbs to complement each style of block.
Patios
Patio installations of all shapes and sizes, using natural stone / porcelain / or any other 20mm slab the client requires.A basic spec requires a layer of terram (non woven). 100mm of MOT Type 1, compacted in two 50mm layers. Slurry backed (trowled not painted) 20mm slab sat on 50mm sharp sand and cement bed. As a guide, these are minimum requirements for the job to be done correctly.
Artificial Grass
We use a market leading brand of grass (Nomow) which comes in multiple lengths, thicknesses and colour so you can get exactly what you’re looking for. Using composite materials to give you peace of mind regarding longevity. With our quality installation we provide a FREE power brush finish.
Drainage
Using our extensive knowledge we can offer simple and cost effective customised solutions to, what can be, complex Foul and Surface drainage problems. We also discuss all drainage issues and concerns during the consultation process on all of our projects.
Fencing
All of our fencing is supplied from reputable companies using ethically sourced timber products.We can erect all types of fencing, from featheredge to overlap to contemporary and everything in between. We can find the right product for your project and budget.
Groundworks
We can offer full groundwork packages to get you out of the ground, from just a dig out and muck away to full site clearances,concrete and drain diversions, All passed off by building control and ready for your brickwork to commence.
Soft Landscaping
Soft landscaping can make a huge difference to a garden, big or small. With our help we can turn your ideas and dreams into reality. From planting and turfing to creating bunds and areas of interest, we can do it all!
Troubleshooting
For a small call out fee, we can come to your property to look at ,and discuss, any concerns you have. Whether it be work that is underway, complete or an ongoing historical issue. With our knowledge (and a bit of common sense), most problems can be overcome.
